Who organises the festival
WAIFF Napoli is organised by 2WATCH Group, WAIFF and Giffoni Innovation Hub, based on a format by Institut EuropIA, under the patronage of the City of Naples and in collaboration with the City and the Fondazione Film Commission Regione Campania.
Trademarks
WAIFF and World AI Film Festival are trademarks of Institut EuropIA. Studio Laffitte holds the WAIFF 2026/2027 operating licence and grants the licences for the international editions. The Italian licensee will be named here.
Giffoni Innovation Hub is a trademark of Giffoni Innovation Hub S.r.l. The trademarks of the Giffoni Film Festival and all other trademarks on this site belong to their owners.
A trademark on this site indicates a partner of WAIFF Napoli only if it appears under the heading Partners of WAIFF Napoli. All others appear under a heading that says whose partners they are.
The World AI Film Festival is not part of the Festival de Cannes.
Images
Every image in our materials says how it was made. Shot on camera means filmed or photographed for real. Generated means made with an artificial intelligence tool, which we name alongside. The people in generated images don't exist.
Archive photos carry their credit.
Figures, dates, rules
Figures that aren't ours carry their source. Reported means the organiser or the party cited says so.
Dates, fees, running times and materials are provisional until the WAIFF Napoli rules are published. Once they are, they take precedence.
Quotes and translations
Every quote carries the name of the person who said it and its source. Translations from Italian are ours and we say so alongside.
